How does the free tier work?
You can manage up to 20 submissions completely free, with 30 AI credits included. No credit card required. Perfect for small workshops and conferences. After your free 20 submissions, each additional submission costs just $1 (launch pricing, normally $3), and you get 30 bonus AI credits per paid submission.
Can I use my own website or registration system?
Yes! Each part of PaperFox — website builder, peer review, program management, and registration — can be used separately. Use just the features you need to enhance your existing conference setup, or combine them all for a complete solution.
Do you support multi-track, multi-phase conferences?
Yes! PaperFox supports multiple tracks with independent submission forms, review processes, and deadlines. Each track can have multiple phases (initial submission, revision, camera-ready, rebuttal) with customizable workflows.
How does conference registration payment work?
We use Stripe Connect for secure payment processing. Attendees pay, and funds go directly to your connected Stripe account. We charge a flat $1 per registration, plus standard Stripe fees (2.9% + 30¢ per transaction, and 0.25% + 25¢ per payout).
Is my data secure and private?
Absolutely. We use industry-standard encryption, secure AWS infrastructure, and all payments are processed securely through Stripe. Regarding privacy: some AI features (like smart reviewer assignment) send paper titles, abstracts, author info, and reviewer profiles to OpenAI for processing. Conference chairs can choose to use standard features instead — no information leaves our platform unless AI features are used. How is PaperFox different from EasyChair, Microsoft CMT, or PCS?
Unlike traditional systems, PaperFox is an all-in-one platform with built-in AI features, modern UI, integrated website builder, program management, registration, and mobile app — all with transparent pay-per-use pricing. No annual fees or per-reviewer charges. We also offer migration support and consultation if you're switching from another system.
