Manage Your Reviews
Respond to invitations and write your reviews across all conferences
Opening the Reviews Page
Everything you do as a reviewer lives on one page. Click Reviews in the sidebar, or from your Dashboard click "View All" under the My Reviews card.
The Four Tabs
The Reviews page organizes your work by where each review is in its lifecycle:
- Awaiting Response — new invitations to accept or decline
- To Review — accepted reviews you still need to write
- Completed — reviews you've submitted
- Declined — invitations you passed on, plus any sub-review delegations that were cancelled by the delegating reviewer (marked "Cancelled" — these don't count as declines by you)
Responding to a New Invitation
New invitations appear under Awaiting Response:
- Click the chevron (›) next to the title to read the abstract
- Click "Accept" to commit to the review, or "Decline" to pass it on
Before you accept, you see the submission's title and abstract — the full submission, including the PDF, becomes available once you accept. This mirrors standard journal practice: the accept decision is about fit and time, and a reviewer who declines never had the manuscript in hand.
Writing a Review
Accepted reviews you haven't submitted yet appear under To Review, grouped by submission. Each submission is listed once. If you review the same submission across multiple rounds, its rows are labeled positionally (Latest review, Earlier review) so you can tell them apart; a submission you review once carries no label. The To Review card shows only the reviews you still need to write — once you submit one it moves to the Completed tab, so each review lives under the tab that matches its status.
Each assignment shows the submission as it was in that assignment's round. If the authors later revise the submission for a newer round, your earlier review keeps showing the version you were asked to review — you'll only see the revision if the chair assigns you in the new round too.
- Click "Write Review" (or "Continue Draft") on the review you want to write
- Read the abstract, keywords, and download the submission file in the Submission card on the left
- Fill in the My Review form on the right — it stays in view while you scroll the submission — and submit before the deadline. If the deadline has already passed, the row shows a Past due marker and the review page explains whether you can still submit
Once submitted, a review moves to the Completed tab, where you can reopen it with "View Review".
Delegating a Review
If you're unable to complete an assignment, you can delegate it to another qualified reviewer. See the Delegate a Review guide for instructions.
