Managing Invitations
View and respond to conference, track chair, and reviewer invitations
Overview
When someone invites you to participate in a conference, you'll receive an email invitation and the invitation will appear in your PaperFox account. You can accept or decline any invitation.
Accessing Your Invitations
From Dashboard:
- Go to
/dashboard
- pending invitations appear at the top - Click "View Invitations" to see all invitations
From Sidebar:
- Click "My Invitations" in the left navigation menu
Invitation Types
You may receive invitations for three roles:
- Conference Chair - Manage the entire conference
- Track Chair - Manage a specific track within a conference
- Reviewer - Review submissions for a track
Responding to Invitations
You can respond to invitations in two ways:
From Email: You will receive a notification email, and you can either accept or decline the invitation through the email. If you don't have a PaperFox account, one will be created automatically
From PaperFox Platform:
To Accept:
- Click the blue Accept Invitation button (in email) or Accept button (in platform)
- You'll gain access to the conference tools for your role
To Decline:
- Click the gray Decline Invitation button (in email) or Decline button (in platform)
- The invitation will be marked as declined
- No PaperFox account will be created
Invitation Status
- Pending - Awaiting your response
- Accepted - You've joined the conference in this role
- Declined - You've declined the invitation
All invitations remain in your history for future reference.
