Using the PaperFox App

Browse conferences, save favorites, and manage your schedule

The PaperFox mobile app helps you discover conferences, build your personal schedule, and stay connected with the academic community.

Download the App

Get the PaperFox mobile app for the best experience:

  1. Visit the App Store
  2. Search for "PaperFox"
  3. Download and install the app
  4. Open the app and sign in

Getting Started

  1. Sign in to your PaperFox account
  2. Browse conferences from the menu
  3. Start exploring and saving your favorites

Browsing Conferences

  1. Click "Conferences" from the menu to see all conferences
  2. Use search to find specific conferences
  3. Click on any conference to view details

Each conference page shows:

  • Conference information and dates
  • Program schedule (when published)
  • Forum discussions (when enabled)
  • Registration (when open)

My Conferences

Involved Tab

  • Shows conferences where you have a role (chair, track chair, reviewer, etc.)
  • Quick access to conferences you're actively participating in

Saved Tab

  • Click the star icon on any conference card to save it
  • Access all your saved conferences from the "Saved" tab
  • Click the star again to remove from saved

Conference Programs

View published conference schedules organized by day and session:

  • Session times and locations
  • Program items with presenters/authors
  • Downloadable materials (when available)
  • Click the star icon to save items to your schedule

Save Program Items

  1. View a conference program
  2. Click the star icon on sessions you want to attend
  3. Items are saved to "My Schedule"

  • Navigate to "My Schedule"
  • See upcoming and past conferences in separate tabs
  • View session times, locations, and details
  • Click the star again to remove items

Forums

View Discussions

  • Navigate to the conference forum tab
  • Browse topics and pinned posts
  • View post details and replies

Participate (requires sign-in)

  • Click "New Post" to start a discussion
  • Reply to existing posts
  • Use the rich text editor for formatting

Registration

When a conference enables registration, you can register from either the mobile app or website.

Register for a Conference

  1. Click the Registration tab on the conference page
  2. Review available ticket types and pricing
  3. Fill in the registration form with your details
  4. Complete payment (if required)
  5. Receive confirmation email

View Your Tickets

After purchasing a ticket, it will automatically appear in "My Tickets":

  • Navigate to "My Tickets" from the menu
  • View current, past, and refunded tickets in separate tabs
  • See ticket details including:
    • Conference name and dates
    • Ticket type (e.g., Student, Regular)
    • Purchase date and price
  • Access your receipt by clicking "View Receipt"

  • Favorite conferences to track them easily
  • Save program items to build your personal schedule
  • Participate in forum discussions
  • The app works on all devices - phone, tablet, and desktop
